No cost for the courts
A prerequisite for providing our service in new markets is getting formal approval from the local government that clarifies that court employees will accept court documents received through Justikal. The solution comes at no cost for the courts. The court employees can use all the features in Justikal at no cost for them indefinitely. Our customers are the Law Firms. Additionally the service is not intended to replace any existing internal systems such as internal case management systems and can be seamlessly integrated with them if requested.

Justikal is designed to provide added value to the traditional case management systems. It's a platform that enables all parties in legal proceedings to connect and collaborate. The system enables parties to validate documents that contain e-signatures and e-seals. With the system, all participants in legal proceedings can submit, access and monitor information in cases that they are assigned to using qualified electronic certificates and strong authentication methods. The main emphasis of the system is to make judicial proceedings more accessible, transparent, faster, less costly and providing better public service.

Attorneys and other case participants can submit court documents electronically. The documents can be in various file formats like video, audio, PDF, Excel, Word and much more.
eSeals and Qualified Timestamps
Submitted documents are eSealed to ensure the integrity of all submitted data. The eSeal contains a qualified timestamp confirming accurately the time of submission.
Qualified validation services
Justikal automatically validates documents that contain electronic signatures and/or electronic seals in accordance with the eIDAS regulations. The validation service is eIDAS certified which means that the results are binding before all courts in Europe.
Access Control
Qualified eIDs are used for strong authentication and system's access controls. External case participants like clients can get view access in their active case.
Audit Trail
All user events are logged in the case audit trail for security purposes, also to ensure full transparency among case participants.
Data security
All files are kept in cloud-based storage in high-security facilities at Amazon Web Services (AWS) located in Europe.
Article 46 - EU Regulation No. 910/2014 (eIDAS)
The eIDAS regulation
An electronic document shall not be denied legal effect and admissibility as evidence in legal proceedings solely on the grounds that it is in electronic form.
With the introduction of the eIDAS regulation, a new regulatory framework in Europe, courts became obligated to accept, validate and store documents in electronic format as outlined in Article 46 of the eIDAS regulation. However, courts have faced challenges in finding suitable solutions to meet this requirement. Justikal effectively addresses these issues by providing a comprehensive solution, at no cost for the courts, that enables them to fulfil these conditions and seamlessly handle electronic document submissions.
